Randy is Vice President of Preferred Brokerage and is responsible for all aspects of Property marketing and placement in the Atlanta office. With more than 35 years of industry experience and over 27 years in retail and wholesale brokerage, he brings a wealth of knowledge and underwriter relationships to the Property Team. His focus is on catastrophe-related risks, especially SE Windstorm, and he also oversees Preferred’s in-house Property and Flood Facilities. Prior to Preferred, Randy was Vice President in Mercator’s Property Practice. Previously, Randy served as Vice President at Swett & Crawford, Marsh Global Broking, SCOR Reinsurance, and held several large account underwriting positions early in his career. He graduated from Kent State University with a Business Management degree and was awarded the Chartered Property Casualty (CPCU) designation in 1985.
