New York, NY (August 1, 2012) – Preferred Concepts, LLC, www.preferredconcepts.com, a leading program underwriter and specialty insurance broker, announced today that Robert Lynch has joined the Preferred Underwriting division as Senior Vice President and Senior Property Underwriter.
Lynch is responsible for the firm’s proprietary property program. He brings over 30 years of underwriting experience to Preferred’s real estate and hospitality team.

Robert’s most recent background includes the co-founding of First Capital Group, a program management operation which Robert helped grow and manage through two acquisitions to its present profile as First General Agency. His previous experience includes roles of increasing underwriting authority at American Home, Starr Associates and World Trade Services. He has leant his experience to the industry at large by teaching the NY State Producer Licensing course.
